Hey guys, I was wondering if there are British or European cookie cutters (or whatever they happen to call them) that exemplify their local folk-traditions, such as (for example) May Poles, Green Men, Hobby Horse, etc.? Perhaps even the unique folk-traditions throughout Europe? How about for Lithuanian St. Agnes/Gabija/Gabieta, perhaps? These are just some rough possible examples, though. Does anyone know, perhaps? If so, I'd love to acquire some for my cookie cutter collection. (I hope I'm not the only one that collects Pagan cookie cutters! *G*)

Re: British/European Cookie Cutters?
Wed, October 3, 2007 - 7:35 PMI don't know about cookie cutters, but in the Netherlands we have a "speculaasplank" (speculaas-molds). Those are wooden planks with carved pics to mold your cookies.
